901 South Katon Avenue Rezoning Recommended Favorable
The committee considered the rezoning of 901 South Katon Avenue from the O2 district to the C2 zoning district. A variance was initially requested but later deemed unnecessary due to changes in zoning standards. The Law Department confirmed the variance was not required. Baltimore Harbor Authority Transfer Bill Recommended Favorable with Amendments

600 West North Avenue Retail/Alcohol Sales Bill Recommended Favorable with Amendments
The committee considered a zoning conditional use for a retail goods establishment with alcoholic beverage sales and associated variances at 600 West North Avenue. The bill was previously heard, with public testimony taken from the applicant and concerned individuals. The Planning Commission recommended approval with amendments to segregate the liquor sales approval to a specific portion of the property, not the entire site, and to reflect this on the site plan. Two amendments were in the packet, but an additional draft amendment submitted late by the applicant could not be considered as it was not yet formatted by DLR, requiring it to be taken up as a second reader amendment.
