City Council Advances 5 Candidates for City Attorney Position
The City Council received a presentation from Ms. Rayney Nowlan of Norwood & Associates regarding the search process for a new City Attorney. The council was presented with a shortlist of 5 candidates for interviews: Travis Cary (internal), Ron Purvis (internal), Rhonda Hassan (external), Scott McHenry (external), and Matthew Raulerson (external). Candidate Hassan has a scheduling conflict for the initial interview dates but has offered flexibility. The council voted to move forward with all 5 candidates for further consideration and interviews, contingent upon background and reference checks.
