Village Board Approves Water Main Extension Project and Settlement Agreements
The Village Board approved three consent agenda items. The first two involved approving settlement agreements. Resolution 26-56 pertained to a settlement agreement for the installation of a water main extension along Lake Road, and Resolution 26-64 addressed a settlement agreement concerning a water leak near 732 Crescent Boulevard. The third item, Resolution 26-62, approved an independent contractor agreement with John Neary Construction Company, Inc. for the 2026 Lake Road Water Main Extension Project, not to exceed $114,515.30, expensed to the water sewer fund. The board waived competitive bidding requirements for this agreement. All three resolutions were passed with a unanimous vote of 6-0.
