City Council Approves Resolution Affirming Partnership with Bear Paw Economic Development District

Haver Policy Manual Updated to Modernize Personnel Policies and Clarify Expectations

New policies were added for AI, requiring human review, and social media, establishing consistent standards for official accounts. An ethics, conduct, and public trust policy was also updated. These changes aim to modernize personnel policies, improve consistency, align with current employment laws, and provide clear expectations.
Two New Patrol Officers Confirmed for Haver Police Department
The City Council confirmed two new patrol officers for the Haver Police Department: Officer Ronald Escobar and Officer Walter Evans. Both officers successfully completed their one-year probationary periods, which included extensive background investigations, graduation from the Montana Law Enforcement Academy, and completion of a 14-week field training program. Chief, in recommending their confirmation, highlighted Officer Escobar's dedication, enthusiasm, and hard work, stating he will be a valuable asset to the department. Similarly, Officer Evans was praised for his strong performance, dedication, and hard work, with the Chief also recommending him as a valuable asset. Both confirmations passed unanimously.
