Huntsville Council Postpones Lodging Tax Ordinance Pending County Action
The council postponed an ordinance amending Chapter 15, Licenses and Taxes, Article 3, Sales, Use, Rental, and Lodging Tax, Division 5 Lodging Tax, Section 15 of the Code of Ordinances regarding license fees. This postponement is due to the need to wait for the county commission to vote on TIF 9. The ordinance was originally introduced on May 28, 2026, and postponed from a previous meeting.
Rishi Singhal Appointed to Early Works Museum Board
