Captain Chris Sutcliffe Recommended for Animal Control Board

Multiple GDWS Amendments and Change Orders Approved for Infrastructure Projects
Several amendments and change orders related to GDWS (Georgia Wastewater Development Standards) and ongoing facility projects were presented. Amendment 1 involves development standards for roads and access, updating city specifications after over 10 years. It costs $25,500 and is recommended for approval. This amendment is considered highly relevant due to recent issues with substandard roads in subdivisions and the inclusion of alleyway specifications. Amendment 4 extends GDWS administrative and engineering services for the East Perry Wastewater Treatment Facility for Year 3, costing $43,600, and is nearing the end of its phase. Amendment 2 extends GDWS services for the East Perry Regional Pump Station project due to a time extension for the Haskell contract, costing $20,450 and is under budget. Amendment 3 (related to item 3) addresses redesign costs of $22,000 for the Bear Branch Pump Station due to access issues and unforeseen underground valving/piping. Amendment 5 is a technical memo for the Bear Branch pump station contractor's work, costing $91,337, with remaining contingencies. Amendment 6 addresses an ARV (Air Release Valve) installation for the Bear Branch force main upgrade, costing $18,838, to address sewer main break potential along Mossy Creek.
First Reading of Rezoning Ordinance for 1 Acre on North Highway 41

St. Patrick's Drive Utility Engineering Phase 2 Approved for Future Planning
Phase 2 of utility engineering for St. Patrick's Drive involves extending utilities from Perimeter Road to Perry Parkway. This planning is necessary to determine water and sewer crossing locations before road construction. The engineering cost for this phase is $79,000.
