Simply Greek Granted Liquor Permit
A liquor permit application was received from Simply Greek at 34501 Aurora Road. No objections were received from reporting directors. Councilmember Zelwyn moved to approve the permit, seconded by Mr. Schimitz. The motion passed with all council members voting yes, except for Mr. Kahn who voted no. The approval allows Simply Greek to operate with a liquor permit.
City Council Approves June Meeting Minutes
The council reviewed meeting minutes from June 15th, 2026, for approval. Mr. Bentley made a motion to approve, seconded by an unnamed council member. The motion passed with one abstention from Mr. Lobscher.
Proposed Zoning District Change Amendment Under Public Hearing

Mr. Bush had no comments.

He noted the lack of flags and decorations and felt the city should have done more to celebrate such a significant historical event.
