Calwell Bridge Culvert Project Completion Delayed to July 10th Due to Storm Basin Addition
The Calwell Bridge culvert project is experiencing delays as the contractor awaits county approval for a change order to add two storm basins. These basins are intended to correct a road pitch problem and eliminate ponding post-completion. Once approved, the contractor will install the basins, followed by curbing and paving. The change order has pushed the completion date to July 10th.

They also held a public hearing and passed Ordinance 2026-12, renewing municipal consent for Concast of New Jersey, LLC, to operate a cable television and communication system. Finally, they entered into an executive session to discuss matters under attorney-client privilege and personnel, with discussions to remain confidential until the reasons for the closed session no longer exist.

This project is state-funded through a grant of $322,000, covering approximately 85% of the $375,000 engineering cost.
