New owners Jim Howard and Rick Halloran clarified they are a different ownership group from the previous Mongo's, though they are using the name and menu. Council members asked about menu continuity, gift card policies, and workforce, with the new owners assuring the menu would be similar, acknowledging potential issues with outstanding gift cards that would need discussion with prior owners, and confirming a staff of 75-80 employees. The license transfer was approved.
Parking Restrictions Approved for 18th Street North
