Win Town Council Convenes Special Work Session, Enters and Exits Closed Session

The Win Town Council held a special call close work session meeting. The meeting began with an invocation and the pledge of allegiance. A roll call was conducted, noting the attendance of Councilman Johnny Moore, Councilwoman Lisa Smith, Mayor Pro Tim Veronica Robinson, and Mayor Hines. Councilwoman Hawkins and Councilwoman Dr. Brandon Herel were noted as absent due to prior engagements. The agenda was approved with a motion by Councilwoman Smith, seconded by Councilman Roy. The council then read the statute for closed session discussions related to economic development incentives or military installation matters. A motion to enter closed session was made by Councilman Moy and seconded by Councilwoman Robinson. Following the closed session, the council returned to open session with a motion to reopen made by Councilwoman Robertson, seconded by Councilwoman Smith. Finally, a motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Moy, seconded by Councilwoman Smith, and the meeting was adjourned.
