Zansville Council Approves First Reading for Holiday Farms Easement Vacation
The Town Council held a public hearing and first reading for an ordinance to vacate a portion of a variable drainage easement on Lot K34 in Section 3 of The Club at Holiday Farms. The property owners, Jeffrey and Julie Rudolph, requested the vacation to accommodate a future pool, patio, and landscaping. The developer highlighted commitments including enhanced architecture, landscaping, buffering, dark sky lighting, and contributions to road improvements, including a future roundabout at County Roads 875 and 300. The council debated the discrepancy in comprehensive plans, the impact on property values, and the potential for less controlled development if the rezoning were denied. Ultimately, the council voted to continue the discussion to their next meeting to allow for further consideration and potential negotiation.
